Ochira Town is centered around the Parabrahma temple is well known in other parts of the state. A Mosque next to the Temple explains the communal harmony exists in this place. Ochira is also a busy local business spot for the people in the neighbouring places such as Krishnapuram, Alumpeedika, Ayiram thengu, Choonadu, Vallikkavu, Vavvakkavu etc. The town has grown tremendously in recent years with many new constructions including Restaurants, Lodges, Auditoriums and Shops. |
Being a place in between the two major towns Kayamkulam and Karunagappally, Ochira town attracts thousands of people to this tiny business center. There are frequent bus services to and from Ochira to many of the important places around the town. You can find a Bus Station, Taxi Stand and Auto Riksha Stand right in the heart of the town for all your commuting needs.
